An online collection of twelve different educational seminars designed to provide learning enrichment coaching, character development, and social emotional learning for future leaders.

The product corn was used as an analogy for the naming of The Raising Corne Program Seminars® as corn relates to the number of byproducts produced. The letter “e” was added to the end of the word corn in order to create the analogy and distinguish the young adults from the food itself. Corn provides nutrition and vitamins necessary for growth and development. This product needs to be in an environment where there is fertile soil, sunlight, and water in order for it to grow tall, strong, stalks. As a result of such nurturing, we are supplied with good delicious ears of corn and byproducts such as dyes, paints, oilcloth, as well as a variety of foods; fried corn, corn-on-the-cob, cornmeal, popcorn, corndog, corn starch, corn bread, etc. Like the byproducts of corn, the young adult has a number of quality “skill-sets” which he or she can offer as well. The young have the potential to become doctors, lawyers, scientists, principals, businesspeople, educators, public servants, so on and so forth. Young adults need to be raised in, or at least exposed to, a nurturing environment that will allow them the opportunity to develop into strong, responsible, confident young men and women. The Raising Corne Program Seminars® is designed to provide that additional “nurturing” environment through sessions of enrichment and discussion.

The underlining goals of the program are to invoke thought, present challenging information for discussion or debate, think critically, and become empowered by making positive life choices.
